The simplest diet

Goal: to lose weight

Be aware: this is only the goal of this diet, not necessarily its outcome. Results vary from person to person. Consult your doctor or dietician before starting this (or any other) diet.

The simplest diet

This is, according to the author, the simplest diet in the world. You eat only 2 meals a day.

You do not eat snacks and you (try) to eat a varied diet. It is important that the meals contain enough proteins, healthy fats, vegetables, fruit and good carbohydrates.

On the homepage you can compare this diet with other diets.

I would not recommend this diet because, firstly, there will be too much time between meals... what happens if you don't eat for too long. Then you will start eating your hot meal with much hunger which will make you eat fast and overeat. This on a slowed metabolism because your body has been in savings mode all day. This means you can actually gain weight faster. It can also cause gastrointestinal problems because there is too much time between meals and you can suffer from heartburn, gas and intestinal cramps.

I myself do not recommend this kind of diet because you are only allowed to eat twice a day. This often results in greater hunger when you are allowed to eat. As a result, the portions you eat are often larger. Important for the body and metabolism is to eat regularly, this way your metabolism keeps working.
